“Bugger Off!” is the British phrase for some naughty words that would cause Mum to wash out your mouth if she ever heard them uttered! But the phrase is just so darned amusing, we couldn’t resist naming our product exactly as we saw fit!
Bugger Off! is a unique blend of insect-repelling, botanical-infused oils that will leave skin soft and intensely moisturized – even when you’re roughing it in the wilderness!
What’s the secret?
Just as the Brits love their tea, we have followed suit by steeping catnip and rosemary botanicals in cold-pressed natural oils for a full two weeks. Catnip is known as one of the most effective insect repellents on Earth. In a study conducted by the College of Agriculture at Iowa State University, catnip was shown to be 10 times more effective than its chemical counterpart, DEET. And of course, in true and polite British fashion, we insist upon using pesticide-free rosemary, picked from the Valley Green gardens and dried in the farm house pantry. (Our catnip is USDA certified organic too!)
As a final touch to add some extra Bugger-off “umph!” we’ve added some pure citronella essential oil, along with Vitamin E for extra skin-softening properties.
