Like the old TV show, “Green Acres,” in 2002, we left city-living near Washington, D.C. and moved to the beautiful Northern Virginia countryside. What started as a soap-making hobby in the kitchen of our farm house quickly grew into a burgeoning natural products business. In no time at all, we began receiving orders from customers and retail shops across the U.S. and around the world. Everything we make at Valley Green is blended, bottled, labeled and shipped entirely on site at our colonial-era hobby farm in Virginia’s beautiful Piedmont.
At Valley Green Naturals, we describe our goal as simple: to produce products that are effective, affordable, body-safe and eco-friendly. We believe that with the bombardment of chemicals we encounter in our daily lives, as well as how they affect the Earth, educating consumers about the importance of product ingredients and safety is essential to healthier living. We also believe that natural and organic products should be reasonably priced so that more folks can afford to purchase them. Founded in 2009, Valley Green Naturals boasts over 30 skin, bath and hair care products that are free of parabens, phthalates, sulfates and petrochemicals.
We source our product ingredients locally from the Piedmont whenever possible; we also support organic farming and Fair Trade on a global basis. Valley Green Naturals’ formulations contain such ingredients as certified organic oils, organic bee propolis and honey, Fair Trade sugar from Malawi, and a variety of certified organic botanical extracts.

Located 40 miles west of Washington, D.C., our small hobby farm serves as a wonderful respite from busy life in the city. There are five acres on which to grow botanicals, herbs and vegetables, and raise chickens. Valley Green is surrounded by neighboring horse farms and a lovely vineyard. Our beautiful surroundings help to inspire the production of our quality personal care products and skin-nourishing creations.
